List of all major scales sound

Starting with the B flat major scale, next to it is the B major scale. You can hear that each major key is only slightly higher in pitch than the previous scale. The reason for that is because the root note of each major scale is only a half step above the root note of the previous scale.

There are 15 of them, but there are actually only 12 different major scales. Some of them, like c sharp and d flat major keys, are enharmonic major scales, meaning these scales share the same pitches with different note names.
